The Internet is a really great way to communicate because it allows you to reach people and companies around the world without having to actually travel anywhere to do it! However, just as we have to be careful in the real world, we need to be aware when on the Internet.

You need to think about who you give information to over the Internet just like you do in person. Your parents have probably told you, Don’t talk to strangers! You wouldn’t walk up to a stranger in the park and give them your name, address, email address and phone number. The same rule applies on the Internet.
