Welcome to mtrek! At ING DIRECT, we think the key to a sound financial future is starting early. We know it's hard to get excited about financial planning, so we've developed this friendly website to provide a simple and fun way to learn about the importance of saving.

Throughout your stay in mtrek, you will be able to tackle topics ranging from the value of money, to setting a budget, understanding credit and building savings goals for the future.

Using an interactive map along with the help of our tour guides, Amy and Sam, you will soon be trekking your way to Moneyland, South Spending, the Republic of Saving and Investor Islands.

Parents and teaches can now visit the Teacher Resource Centre on mtrek, a free resource to help them teach kids aged 8 to 12 the basics of money. Downloadable lesson plans, quizzes and interactive activities include topics like creating a budget, smart spending and the long-term benefits of saving.
